  • VX7000 cap questions for powersupply

I got a defect VX7000 which showed 88:88. There is still a tape stuck in the machine. I was told that it just stopped working while it was playing. I went to the powersupply and the 4 main big caps were all defect, leaking and so on. 1 3300uf 25v 1 2200uf 50v 1 1500uf 35v which I undestand is rare but I got a back of Nichicons the other day which are

  • Re: IR Code Converter for the BM8000 questions

While waiting for this box to arrive I've been wondering about the future linking/setup. At present 2 Mcl82 is aviable online in Denmark for ekstra speakers in another room which the Beomaster 8000 is using. Only 4 units can be connected which is fine. Option 1: Using the Beolink 1000 takes the tape 2 input and 1 powerlink input on the Beovision

It could be. There is 2 ways to install it. I plan to use the Beomaster 8000 at first but I will see how it goes. I can use the box straight with the Beovision and use the Beolink 1000 or I can ad the MCL82 and use it for extra speakers in another room. I've found a MCL82 box for sale online so I might go for that one too.

Thank you. I got into a bidding war but about 46£ is fair enough. That ebay auction a few months ago were up there too as I recall. The Beomaster 8000 should be able to take it straight on and 6000 modified acording to the IR manual. I will keep you posted with the test results.

Ok I just won this on Qxl.dk which is a Danish auction site. http://www.qxl.dk/kobe/hi-fi-tv--video/bang--olufsen/link-produkter/beolink/beolink-ldre/v/an561264290/ It says the box has no type nmber and it does have the odd lead out. Is this the actual box cause it sure looks like it?

  • Re: More white stuff landing...

Congratz! I had the option to get a pair of S120 while the S80.2 were being rebuild by Dillen. Being white editon it could be cool to try 2 pairs with the white editon 6000 system. I got all 3 units minus the speakers first at an auction. Condition of both pairs were really good. Minor scratches but not noticeable. Despite the usual foamrot and the

  • Re: Which Speakers for BeoMaster 8000?

It does look good indeed. My Beogram 8002 is used alot. Since it was serviced by Dillen in november 2007 it has played like new and thanks to the tangential setup taken good care of my records with no marks on them. I love using it and the sound it produces. In fact it keeps my love for records intact. If you got no use for a Beocord 8000-9000 style

  • Re: Why most "modern digital" music sounds artificial

In most classic rock you have every band member that ads to the total. Deep Purple for instance. If there is one great keyboard player it must be Jon lord. He might be playing a Hammond but he tames the beast and ads flavor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBzo_JadD6k&feature=related With Metallica Cliff Burton added more than we will ever know and

I'm not a Sprinsteen fan either. What I dislike about most music today is the fact that very few can actually play an instrument with flavor to it. Then most of it sounds like effects on everything and synth like witch the backing track usally is 9 out of 10 times. Songwriting is less interesting. Barbygirl anyone? Boybands? I grew up with the sound

  • Re: Which Speakers for BeoMaster 8000?

The way I look at it, it has always been about keeping the system complete and original. I do agree that the Beomaster 8000 needs the space not just in the sound but also where you put it as the SC80 stand is hard to find. I do use volume 3.1 to 3.5 for the most part. The system fills the room with sound just fine. I do like the fact that there is more
