I've got mine mkI's working with my BeoCom ISDN. But I can't remember if the 6000's needed a software update. I've updated the ISDN to 2.24 (don't nail me on that one) for some years ago, and even the BC5 works fine with ISDN base.

I've had this this setup several years from the early type of avant. The right option setting is indeed (v)option 2 for the Avant and (Aopt) 0 for the 9500. Make sure that you have the right cables. 8pins for the powerlink and 7 pins din audio cable for the Aux. Don' t use the powerlinkcable for the Aux, as another member here on this forum
