• Re: Beocenter 2 or Beosound 4.
i am swayed to the BS4 , should all UK sold BS4's have DAB as standard?
Be warned; DAB was an optional feature (here in AU), and there are two DAB standards - hopefully the UK stayed on the standard that the BS4 implemented (although I do believe that there is a chip upgrade available ....)

I like to play my cd's so BS8 is not an option..
Can't you rip them uncompressed or with a small amount of compression, to a NAS drive? I barely put a CD in my BS4 and, if I do, I find they sound flat.
I am confused ! First you said [quote user="moxxey"

  • Re: A9 keyring/ beotime with remote lights

don't know about those guys, but I did just find Steve of Sounds Heavenly (see ad at bottom of the page) advertising some controls on eBay that are Beo 4 and A9 compatible and presumably will work with the Beotime. The products that Steve is reselling seem (based on spiffy html etc) to come from a more subtantial organisation than your TLC reference

  • Re: Beocentre 2500 and beolink 5000

Hi, I have not used these units, but the quick research I did on the Beoworld product site says they should work. Three suggestions: check the remote's batteries are new check the remote is sending a signal by looking at it through a digital camera's view finder - you should be able to see the infrared signals flashing when you press the buttons

  • Re: Now what?
Denon a1hdci
According to google hits, this unit is a 10 channel power amplifier ? If so I believe you should not attach it to the BeoLab 5s as they have their own built in power amplifiers.
I looked for a preamp-processor but I can't see any listed by B&O.
The Beomasters

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find it in a search or the FAQs. What, if any, Beovisions are compatible with the datalink of the Beosystem 5000?
Try the Beotech sister/micro-site to Beoworld. Look here for some indications
The new iPod dock BS3 big brother is out Q4 as I saw a photo of it today. Looks ok. Leather handle, square, aimed at the ROBERTS buying public!
this wierd ... I actually think that looks quite charming ... perhaps I have been spending too much time in the Vintage threads ?

  • Re: LinkPlayer 2 Feedback thread
the start up and wake up option for PC or A.AUX is not working. When my Mac wakes up from sleep mode I have to restart LinkPlayer and select PC. Anyone with the same symptoms?
I do not use this sleep approach - but I always leave LinkPlayer running in the background and don't have any problems "starting"
