A similar experience once with a new Beocom 6000 purchased in Frankfurt. I called the store using our BC 2, and the salesperson offered to look at and repair the phone, but then suggested ( helpfully ) to look at the battery. The battery was dead, and a suggestion was made to purchase one locally, Total cost 5 Sfr. and it continues to operate fine.

Although I've met a rare few over 50 years who do, most store salespeople do not necessarily equal audiophiles. Most are hired, trained, and interested in one thing: Moving " product " out the door, in high-volume quantities, with possibly an incentive bonus to the hourly salary. Rather than pay attention to the point of the commercial, one gets annoyed at the product and the message and turn it off. I find that if a program is running the same commercial repeatedly, my thoughts drift to

On MAC to B&O connection possibilities for you: A) Mini-jack out - > to B) DIN cable combination, using TAPE or PHONO inputs. If your unit

Beo; The dust accumulation will happen over the years on any of the B&O music systems. One in the Alps, and one in the Tropics. I have two BS 1 units, one from the product incept in 2001 and another purchased in 2003. Both continue to operate very well, although one was zapped plugging it in to the wrong mains supply ( the voltage converter and

Beo: You have a number of solutions and options available, but first one question: Do you download using ITUNES, Beoplayer, or use another recording form and service ? The hum echo could be from a number of sources, including the line connection from the 3.5 mm mini-jack itself, proximity to another electical source, etc. I would perform a little fault

. . . and an entire Brasilian beach. I was in Copacabana for the Stones Concert there, estimated at 800,000 + people. All traffic on Avenida Atlantic stopped in both directions ( 2 lanes each ) also, and just listened. ( Unfortunately the CD recording or download of this historic event sounds as though it was recorded through a bent soda straw coming
