Anyone interested? Was looking for 50 pounds. The mic is in very good cosmetic condition with the red engraved B&O writing still perfect.

Well I will write to them and see if I get a response. There is no doubt that it is an error on B&O's part. I don't think it will be such a major thing for them to produce the panels and make sure that they don't come loose.

Not much irritates me about B&O ever except this!!! I know this has been spoken about many times and that B&O can't be expected to keeps parts forever BUT in this case I feel that the reason that glass panels need replacing is entirely B&O's fault. you'll have to elaborate a bit for me Martin I understand its a mono microphone...only two pins used...BUT i have 2 MD8s at the moment and the Din plugs are wired differently!! Is the middle pin the dud one? Also why are there two wires, red and black, doesn't it matter which way they go? What function do each of the two wires serve since its

I have a MD8 microphone and the Din plug only has 3 pins. Surely that can't be compatible with a normal Din socket? I did manage to record some sound using a Beocord 1100 but I couldn't get the sound out the speakers whilst I was recording. Only got sound after playback. How does one use the microphone so you can hear the sound through the speakers

Is this what you are looking for? This came with a cartridge many years ago that belonged to my mothers friend. She lived in the Congo and couldn't get the cartridge without buying the adaptor (Was in one box). (Sorry bad cellphone pic)
