This problem often occurs where the maximum number of handsets (6) has been registered with the base and you try and register a seventh. If a base has been sold and the person did not un-register their handsets even if they are not connected, then that is often the source of your problem. How many handsets do you currently have registered to your base

For most Philips units they use either RC5, RC6, RCMM or NEC protocol. RC5,RC6 and RCMM use 36 Khz carrier Frequency and NEC uses the very common 38 Khz Current Sony products use 40 Khz. Timings do not always have to be captured, they can be converted from Pronto HEX codes found HERE and if you find suitable Pronto HEX codes then I can convert them

You certainly can create a Beo5 XML file WITHOUT using the Lintronic box. The only reason that many people talk about the Lintronic box is because so many members have these units and so the Beoworld XML generator was created with that in mind. To make a 3rd party XML file you need:- 1) The carrier Frequency the unit is using. This can easily be measured

I have converted your picture so that it can be viewed. The mis-match issue can occur for a few reasons, but I am guessing that your configuration was created with an earlier version of the Configuration Tool and you have tried to download it with a more recent version ?

As I said, that's because your 10 metre extension cable does not have pin 3 connected. Modern phones don't need it, but the 2400 does.

For older phones to ring they use pin 3 on the extension which is produced from the capacitor in the master socket. So your extension cable must have pins 2, 3 and 5 connected.

I looked at the codes in the PUC for all three TViX units and they all use 32 bit NEC codes. I checked the binary of a couple of the commands and they were 100% the same, so I am guessing that the TViX N1 will be the same.
