  • Re: Any Suggestions for a High Def DVD Player

You are right about backing up claims with facts Chris. I can tell you that a Sky Customer Service representative I spoke to on the phone about a year ago now told me about the upscaling of SD content for some of their HD channels - fair comment - not all of them. Of course you wouldn't expect a representative to such things but he did as we were

j0hnbarker: Alex: I'm going to be in Cardiff studying Creative Music Tech - can't wait! As for the system, I'll be taking a Rotel RSX 1055, 4 x B&W DM303s and a B&W LCR3 with me, which is probably more than enough! You'll have a great time Alex - oh to be 18 again! Oh to be 29 again!!!

  • Re: This will be hard to beat!!

Does look great no doubt but I am with electric on this one. No need for a 1 inch screen for me, it represents nothing exciting or practical. B&O still has the design edge, and that's what I am buying in to. Just me... Simon.

  • Re: off topic: phillips pronto

Hi Sean, Join the club! I have a Sky HD box as well as the built in DVD Tuner in the BV7-40 Mark III. Having SKy I obviously use that rather than the built in tuner for channel choice etc. However, when I turn on the TV every day - I have to use V.AUX, so on a Beo 4 for example its: List... V.AUX... Go... it turns on the TV but NOT the Sky box, which

New BeoSystem 3 ... are you sure? I don't think so. Far too early for that in my opinion. What 'really' could be improved? Simon.

moxxey: The_Beonic_Man: Please don't buy a Sony or something else, this is simply madness when you have such a top B&O set up. Hey, it doesn't have to be ALL B&O you know Simon. I don't walk around in pure Armani, for example. That's a bit anal :) Simply get a Playstation 3, for now at least. Good price, superb player, you can

  • Re: Any Suggestions for a High Def DVD Player

Another post arrived while I was composing mine so here is an updated version... OK, so I can now see that you already purchased the BC2. Is HI Def really so important at this stage? I mean, really? You need to seriously weight things up. I have the BV7-40 which is HD 1080p but rarely do I watch content in this format as firstly, there are only 3 terestrial

  • Re: Any Suggestions for a High Def DVD Player

If you have invested in a BeoSound 3 and and BeoVision 4 GH ready TV, technically speaking and design wise, arguably the best set up you could have ... why now go for a Sony or other third party DVD player? I never understand people that mix and match. To me, if you buy B&O then you stay with B&O but that is only my opinion. In your position

  • Re: BV7 Freeview upgrade

PhilLondon: I upgrade mine and the picture is superbe with the tuner. Much better than with my sky box. Also it sends the picture in the correct format to link rooms. Note that the current Freeview tuner cannot receive HD channels. A new HD capable tuner will be available soon. So you might wait for that. p. That's interesting Phil! I find that

I know Halandri well; had some friends their and I also used to work out at Holmes Place just up the road in Marousi a few times a week. Parking was a nightmare ... driving was worse!! LOL @ Greek drivers! I see your parents place is near Kalamaki, OK, know that area a little. Yup, loved living in Glyfada, actually it was more the Voula side but all
