  • Beo 4 Vtape..

Hi folks. A slightly embarrassing question but I have just connected a Beocord V8000 to my BV 3-32. I have an STB and a DVD (non B&O) connected. I thought the V8000 would automatically respond to the Vtape button on the Beo 4 but I am not getting any response. Do I somehow need to assign that button to the video recorder? Numpty I know, but how

Thanks DoubleU, I'll get hold of one the convertors that you mention. I think they are referred to elsewhere in the Forum. Many thanks C

Thank you Dimitris and Michael, much appreciated. I have spoken to a B&O installer who has found a software update for the BV3 which will allow an Apple TV to be connected and operated via the Beo 4. I think it is a fairly recent update. Having read all the reviews of the Apple TV, I am totally sold and hooked! I have already transferred my Sony

  • BV 3--32 and Apple TV

Hi folks. I had been toying with the idea of buying a Beomedia 1 in light of what seem to be incredibly good prices at the moment. But after further investigation, I have learnt that installation is a nightmare, the system is rapidly becoming dated, and I should look at Apple TV instead. My question is, can I connect Apple TV to a Beovision 3-32? If

  • Re: Beolab 2 - any regrets?

I think I am going to get the neighbours involved with this purchase and see if they give the thumbs up!

  • Re: Beolab 2 - any regrets?

This is all really interesting stuff folks, thank you. I think I will ask for a demo in my living room (which is not palatial, and I do have neighbours..) to feel the force of the sonic volcano. I have to say that 99% of the comment is positive, so I guess I should really not waste time analysing the 1% of negative/indifferent feedback. Happy listening

  • Beolab 2 - any regrets?

Hi folks. I have read a huge amount of positive information about the BL2 and what it adds to a surround sound/film experience. I am thinking about adding a sub to my set-up (BL8000s front, BL4000s rear) and was wondering if anyone had any negative comment about the BL2 and whether they had bought one and found that it added too much 'boom and bang'

  • Re: Speaker 4?

Thanks for the replies. Good to hear your thoughts. Does anyone find themselves altering the individual speaker sound levels on a regular basis? I find that on some programmes and films, the music is deafening but the speech is very quiet so I have to adjust the front two speakers to a lower setting, and then other programmes vary. Maybe it is just

  • Speaker 4?

Hi folks. I have BL6000s and 8000s connected to my BV3-32. I was just wondering whether people use the Speaker 4 option much, or at all? At the risk of sounding like a muppet, I am not entirely sure when it is best to switch to Speaker 4 mode (except when listening to music). Any thoughts welcome. Thanks. C
