Thank you, Stefan, but unfortunately it doesn't work. I have tried 0:000:TV:CNTL_2 but there is no reaction of the DVD2. I also tried 0:000:TV:BEO4EX_CNTL_2 (although this comman is not listed in the BeoIR proposal list of the configuration tool) and when accessing this code, a "0" is send as a channel number (showing "0-" in

Thanks for your help, Gerd. I will try soon and report if it works. But I already detected a serious problem with the preset IR codes listed above: when I enter the Timer-Menu of the DVD2 by pressing the Timer-Softbutton (0:000:TV:BEO4EX_COMB_4+BEO4EX_COMB_5) to enter a Showview-Code, the DVD2 switches of every time I press the cipher 6 (all other ciphers

Like explained in another thread, I am trying to define some functions and macros for the DVD2. Unfortunately it seems like my DVD2 (configured as CDV/DVD-source on an Avant) can only be accessed by the Beo5 using combinations of 2 IR-codes BEO4EX_COMB_<number> + BEO4EX_COMB_<number> as there is no possibility to choose CDV/DVD as target

Tried it out now: for every submenu there can be set another defination of the ir codes send when pressing the hardware keys. While the Stepup-Command works to navigate in a DVD menu (but that does the small arrow up icon in the middle, too), to switch channels on DVD2, the following combinations are needed: Channel +: 0:000:TV:BEO4EX_COMB_3 0:000:TV

The junction box is just a small plastic box (larger version available) with contacts for the wires of the cable. There is no cable/pug included. You can use a ready-made master link cable with two plugs, cut it in two pieces and use one of these pieces to connect it with the junction box. But a junction box is not necessary if you are able to solder

Do you have firmware 1.34a, Burnix? I cannot reproduce the described behaviour (tried on several different surfaces). If Beo5 ist placed on the docking station, a touch of the metal ball is enough to turn the backlight on. But if I place it on any other surface, it doesn't work (and I think this is as it should be according to the changes-list for

Which type of DVD player is used? B&O or third party? Most DVD players offer a screen size configuration in the settings menu to adjust the type of the screen (e.g. widescreen 16:9).

I've found out that it is also possible to change the IR codes for the hardware keys. The following commans are currently used for the different devices: Avant: 0:000:TV:STEP_UP Avant built-in-VCR: 0:000:VTR:STEP_UP DVD2: 0:000:TV:BEO4EX_CMD_A But what should I use as IR command for the DVD2 instead? On the Beo4 I am accessing the DVD2 via the DVD
