Interesting reflection on values in this thread as the “do what makes you happy” philosophy gets supported by the “grey area” declaration. And while we try to use polite words like replica or simulated; a fake is a fake. I’m not sure what shade of grey area is involved here. The television is either a B&O or it isn’t

I am with TripEnglish (fake Rolex) and Soren Mexico (close the thread) on all counts. While this reminds me of when people put AMG on their standard Mercedes, or attempt an “upgrade” with their S430 by changing the badge to S600, at least they started with a Mercedes in the first place.

Keep your comments coming - I know Tue will be reading this thread.
Good ! And as one Business Advisor to another ... 1/ Can we have a means (black box, software, wireless, airplay, who cares about the implementation!) to connect a BeoSound 8 to the BeoNet so new and old customers

The issue with the avant is different as it is the downscaler box that needs to have an active HDCP key as it is a terminator (and not really

I learned much more than I ever wanted to know about HDMI when I decided to hook up the ATV2 to my Avant. The problem that you are encountering is a security issue between the ATV2 and the B3. The ATV2 is looking for a security signal from the B3 which is designed to guard copyright protection, and while the lack of the security signal will usually

error in my post - wrong thread - sorry

This looks like the back of my Avant. Go to the B&O site and you can download the manual which will have the diagram and descriptions of all the connections.

Lee and Peter, have a great time today. Please don’t let him get away with just talking about all the new marketing channels for sales of the product, make sure that he talks about new products for the marketing channels.

Why do they keep building “dead end” systems which do not connect to the multi-link? B&O might call it a stand alone system and that it is designed to draw the customer to the B&O stores, but all it really does is create a substandard product which is expensive and doesn’t integrate with future purchases, and it discourages
