Mox, I use the picture mute (or "pmute" on the Beo4/Beo5) feature which turns the picture off and defults to "speaker 2" setting. I have the same set-up except with an Apple TV in between.

Clakke, I suggest that you take Dave Moulton's assessment as definitive. He likely knows more about this speaker, the associated technology, and proper placement than anyone else on this forum. From his post it would appear that you have things right. Enjoy your martini!!

Have you considered streaming from your computer/laptop to BL3s through iTunes/Apple Airport Express? You should be able to use the "line" setting and the DIN adapter (available from your friendly dealer) to hook into the Airport Express. This is about as compact and high performance as is currently available provided your music files are

Clakke, I have used the BL3 in about 10 different installations and in each instance they are best positioned where the ALT is at approximately ear level for the intended listening position. If you want uniqueness with B&O design, go

From that section: "the people reporting

Bumble, Thanks for the info. Sounds very B&O..... I thought of changing to this font as a default for personal use, particularly because of the uniqueness of the "&" symbol but it would appear that the "&" is a part of the in-house derivation. Still, it is a nice font.

Does anyone know what font B&O use on thier products? I thought that it was Frutiger but the "&" symbol is not right.
