  • Re: beosound 3000 queries

Thanks for the reply Graham. Well I'm obviously glad you didn't bid! Was expecting the auction to go up to £600+ so chuffed really. Dan

  • beosound 3000 queries

I have just secured a mint bs 3000 from fleebay on which I'm waiting delivery any day now. I'm confused though. It's a small clamper version (which I prefer btw aesthetically), and described as a "later model 3000" thus apparently n.music ready, and "first sold in 2003". Quoting from the blurb on this website however

9 LEE: demonell: If I may be so bold, a word of advice; If you are going to attempt to be publicly pedantic by criticising someone else's grammer and... ooooh, a shocking faux pas.. of all the words to mis-spell Lee, you're quite correct. The question though; was this a faux pas or a deliberate attempt at lightly veiled irony? What do you think

Calvin: Sorry, I agree with the general point but it's not "ironic." Maybe weird, odd, unfoortunate, a shame, but not ironic. It's like the song "Ironic" which isn't, clearly A lanis Morissette didn''t get the subtle difference either . Observe Edd Byrne discussing it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMQ8S2uHTlo

  • Prices of used B&O; Ironic?

Shocked looking through the for sale section and seeing an avant 28 vcr with no takers at £250. I bought a used 32 avant a few years ago and paid £3k, probably now worth peanuts despite being in as new condition, and still one of the best t.v.'s out there. The funny thing is this though.....At a few years old B&O t.v's can be

  • USA equipment in the UK

Can anyone enlighten me. Is there any reason why a 120v USA beosound 3200 would not work in the UK with an appropriate voltage converter? Thank you. Dan

  • Re: connecting pvr to Avant.....Help please!!!

Sorry, probably my lack of accuracy over the terminology. It is indeed the chip, not the entire board.

  • Re: connecting pvr to Avant.....Help please!!!

Neil, I'm based in Bedford, my nearest store is in Milton Keynes. I'm not averse to dabbling with a circuit board if the chip is a straight swap. What worries me more is my lack of knowledge of the whole process really. i.e. once the chip is in, what then? Would I order the chip from a store or from B&O directly, and what, exactly, do I
