I have my new Beovision 8-40 for a week now, superb picture & sound, took a bit of setting up, awkward placement of inputs and a manual that is very B&O, (ie not much information!!) Anyway, there is a problem, HiDef films appear very sharp and detailed, but they appear as though thaey are B Class movies (soap Opera affect). Is anyone else suffering

Reply to Bulldog; I have had the very same problem, but with my BV6. I didnt realse this was a software upgrade fault, i though it was me messing with the wires again!! hopefully it will be fixed in the next software update, i will have a look on the PS3 forums for any clues. Reply to Sheerman; until i lost the digital sound (see above) you have to

Hi, I have a similar query; What if you connect the standard light switch as normal, but have it permanently switched on and hide it in the cavity and then attach the LC2 where the switch was, so it will appear to be in line with power on both sides? Would this work?? Or do you still need a neutral feed? Cheers TC

Hi Guys, Sorry my fault, i thought you had a BV6 26 (Opps read it wrong....) Still, I wish mine was the later model with HDCP! TC

I have a BV6-26" at the moment and am looking to upgrade it for the BV8-32" really for the HDCP/HDMI input,I know it is meant for a 2nd room, but not all of us have $16000 (AUS) for a BV7!!

Has anyone bought and used this set, as I cannot find any reviews? I am considering purchasing it as I would like to upgrade my BV6 26" to a new HDTV with HDMI. I know this is a buget B&O set but is it anygood. Cheers TC

I too bought my set from the dealer in Truro, Cornwall, who provided a great service. No-one at the time knew what the HD world was going to do at the time. The biggest problem is HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) it stops HD from being played back via blue ray disc etc. What is needed for the BV6's is a HDCP adaptor to plug in, to
