Before I had my BL5's my living room setup I had a BL2 sub. My ex would call it the turd. She would say, "all their products are so cool except for the turd, what do you need that for"? We remain good friends and recently she comes around and looks in my bedroom at my new white setup (all white, BV10, BL3's and BL2). First thing she
why don't they keep the concept and update it to handle dvd's and even blu rays ?
Open Mech for DVD or BR DVD wouldn't work because it spins at a faster rate and creates more noise. Even the Avant DVD mech created a racket and it was a closed thin casing.[quote user

Just had my BV10 and BS3/BV4 50" upgraded to the latest spec software and the picture is absolutely brilliant! never thought that a software upgrade could make such a drastic change. But yes who gives a **** what others say, i love sitting in my B&O theater, it puts a smile on my face before it's even turned on.

PUC should be fine, IR remote is listed is accessories.

" Remember that you will need additional RAM, a keyboard and a mouse". A keyboard and mouse will not be needed if you have an iPhone or iPad, you'll just use apple remote as a track pad and keyboard. However it doesn't look like the new mini has an IR, so maybe no PUC control. Hope I'm wrong on that front.

Superior sound there surly is out there no doubt but sound is all most do. What they dont realise is that B&O is a lifestyle brand as much an A/V brand, like Apple is as much a lifestyle brand and no longer a computer company. Try and find a brand in A/V that offers superior sound/picture, ease of use, simplicity/minimalism, beautiful design, integration

"Why do people put down B&O"? The same reason fat chicks put down Models. The same reason turbo drivers put down Ferrari drivers. The same reason Japanese bike riders put down Ducati / Mv Agusta riders. Answer: Jealousy Any further analogies?

Well he/she may be satisfied with the sound of the BV10, especially after BL8000's and BL2 are connected. That's why I recommended a test drive in store. I believe I described it as "superior" and recommended a test drive and see/listen how it "matches" up. I for one am extremely satisfied with the sound of the BV10 with

I have both and much prefer BV10. If you already have a DVD player there isn't a big advantage with BV7-40 apart from a superior sound. Maybe get your local store to demo the sound of both with BL8000 + BL2 and see how the centre sound matches up.
