Hi Razlaw, My guess would be a bad connection on the MasterLink somewhere. If you've a spare ML cable worth trying to elimate to leg that is usually used and connect the quiet system via the new cable and see what this does for you. Best, Rob

I really am amazed by B&O's reply further down the thread, I don't know how many BeoPort users are linked to Macs rather than PC's but surely we make up a significant enough community to warrant giving Anders a bit of support

Hi Peter, Yes, I connect a fibre TOSlink cable from the MacMini audio output into the DACMagic (don't use the USB it doesn't sound as good, I know this sounds odd given it's all digital, but it's true!), then I use very high quality audio cables from RCA Jacks to minijack input on BeoPort. Hi Edde, I've got BM-Link version 1.5.2 running on Snow Leopard and after some odd problems starting BM-Link it's now working fine via the BeoPort into my B&O setup. Sadly since I use the latest version of iTunes for my iPhone and AppleTV syncing I cannot use playlists via the Beo4 nor can I even advance tracks on the Beo4 since the SL upgrade

Hi there, I'd agree with the hi-fi dealer, the DAC sounds much better when "burned-in" for a few days and then left on. It's also true for most electronic devices. The small amount of power used is well worth the boost in sound quality Best, Rob
