Quote from Beoworld data, BEOGRAM TX Manfactured: 1983 - 1985 Designer: Jacob Jensen Colours: Grey, This was a re-badged Beogram 6002 but without the one way Datalink module. It was fitted with the excellent MMC3 cartridge and could be used with other makes of amplifier. It was replaced by the much less substantial TX2 .

I tried everywhere to get replacements having been told B&O no longer stock them and the German manufacturer no longer produced them. After doing some research I found they were available from a Chinese manufacturer via CPC distributers in the UK. They are the same apart from the connection "tags" which are located in a different position

One thing to note, is that the ML system sends its audio around in a "Balanced" format, so if you pick up the left and right channels into the "Unbalanced" MCL system, it will result in a 6db reduction in sound levels in the main room ( the earth connection from the MCL system effectually shorting out half of the balanced system

Sorting out my workshop of B&O parts, I have come across a pair of RIAA pre-amps for mounting in the Beogram 1000 turntable. I remember recently there were people asking about them on the forum. They were removed from new turntables and have been in my workshop for many years sitting on a shelf. Anyone interested please get in touch. Ron

My experience has been that since buying a BV4 (and the same seems to apply to all Plasma TVs) the ammount of "hash" comming off the screen seems to interfer with the remote control of the LC2 making it impossible to use remotely, although manual control is still possible.

There were, I believe, two types of Beogram 6000, a type 5504/5505 and type 5515. I have a copy of the earlier type 5504/5505 covering the turntable electronics and the CD4 demodutator, but have been trying to obtain a copy of 5515 for my turntable for some time without success. If it is the 5504/5505 version I could easily photocopy it and send to
