you can use your Beo4 remote with an IR Receiver and Linkplayer without any problems, best to dump BM-Link as it is not updated anymore by the author

so let me get this straight, your mac Mini in the upstairs TV room has a Toslink optical cable into the DACMagic, then phono cable to the Beoport, then phono cables to the PC Input on the Beovision 6 by the way, are you using any software on your Mac like BM-Link or Linkplayer or MyBeoPort The MyBeoPort application is interesting because it does not

yes, you got a super bargain there, what is the code / model number on the DVD controller, that will tell you what DVD players can be operated by the Beo4 remote control when the scart cable is plugged into the back of an Avant, go for a 32inch with the Beo4 remote included if you can, there are plenty of good deals around for these TV's now :-

umm, must look out for that combo on my travels, do any beoworlders have such a setup that you know of Peter ?
-
a friend of mine still uses ver 3.23, he lives and works on an oil rig would you believe, so managed to blag it with his friendly B&O retailer, what does CT3.59 fix, is there a change list ( bug update ) list that is viewable somewhere on the web, or here ??

if you don't have an iPod Touch or iPod yet, then I would agree with you, but we are really talking about people who already have iPod's Jonny :-)

Laser Discs, that brings back memories of the old Pioneer player that I still have in the garage, and the Pioneer 5.1 amp with the sub woofer, used to sound pretty good if my memory serves me right http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laserdisc
