That's useful to know. The instructions for the 6002 state cable part 6270213 is required. I was'nt aware it was any different from a normal B&O 7/7 cable for e.g. to connect the Beocord 8000. I'll try to get the special phono one from the dealer. The 9500 will start the deck and stop it with a change to another source. I would have

Diagnosis correct. I tried another 7/7 cable using the 9500 and all is OK including datalink. With the 6000 the datalink still does'nt work. Perhaps there is an additional fault with this amp but at least I know the deck is OK. Many thanks. David

Having problems with a recently aquired Beogram 6002. It plays OK with a Beomaster 6000 but there is some background buzzing noise audible between tracks or during quiet passages. I tried the deck on a BC9500 and the noise is much worse - more of a low rumble. Is there a compatibility issue with the 9500? What is the likely source of the interference

Thanks for the reply. I'll have to live with it or get some more beo4's. The PC shift store command certainly works with the BL1000 so you would expect the 5000 to be the same. Maybe someone else can help? David

Anyone know the sequence for this? The PUC for Sky+HD changes the "backup" function on the box to 'exit' (previously 'stop'). No problem for beo4 but I have two link TV's which use the BL1000. Thanks for advice. David

Please would anyone advise how to cure a sound echo evident from all sources (very noticable at low volume) on a BV8-40 from the service menu? There seems some delay between left and right speakers for some reason. I would also like to reduce the delay between the TV and ML output via the menu if that is possible. Thanks for any advice David

In addition to link sound delay I have an echo from all sources most noticable at low volume. It is as if the left and right speakers are not quite in sync. There is no balance control in the sound options. Advice about eliminating this and mitigating ML delay in the service settings would be appreciated

BV8-40 shows a 14:9 and 4:3 image by default in format 3. These are unwatchable horribly stretched and distorted picures. Does anyone know how I can store formats for the main sources for future use?
-
My BV8-40 thinks that a 14:9 broadcast should be shown in format 3 which is wrong. Every time I need to change it to one of the format 1 choices for a correctly displayed picture. Similarly a 4:3 PC input (y/c) also defaults to format 3 (wrong) requiring a change, not just at switch on but also at source change. Very tiresome. Is it not possible for

Nobody know where the BV11 will position in the range?
