I have BL3 and BL2. I must say that in the beginning I felt it was too boomy for music. But after finding a decent level for the Subwoofer (set in the TV, using the dolby digital module), the BL2 contributing VERY positively to my music experience. I wouldnt live without. But in my case it was needed to lower the subwoofer level quite significantly

The 32" version will change to BeoSystem 3 based, just as the 40" version. The 32" will not be 1080p though (Full HD). Release dates are still unknown. But it will happen "soon" - which could mean more or less everything when it comes form B&O ;-)

BeoBrief is a newsletter from B&O to the Dealers.

It's mounted high on a wall above a door opening. But pointed towards the listening position. Showroom!?! ;-) .....the showroom didn't really have to well displayed, so I just heard it briefly. It's hard to say.

Hi I recently bought a BeoLab 3500 and I must say I am not quite pleased with the sound. I find the sound very "portable radio" or "transistor radio" like. Like the sound misses something.... Mid Range maybe. It can be tuned to give more bass and more treble, but I dont think the sound is ever good. In fact I find it QUITE unpleasing

Here in Denmark we have to major Cable TV Providers. TDC and Telia Stofa. Both will work with ANY DVB-C compatible box. TDC will need a Viaccess 2 CAM Telia Stofa will need a Conax CAM. This is a fact, and I know quite a few people that have used Dbox2, Dreambox and even a Windows PC with MediaPortal and a DVB-C PCI card.

The new BV7-40 will be "Full HD" - meaning 1080p - yes !
-
The BV7-32 will come in a revised version around the same time as the BV7-40. It will be based off the BeoSystem3, just like the BV7-40. It will "only" be a 720p panel and not a 1080p one. Dont expect the 32" to ever be "Full HD". ....who needs that anyway? As for people waiting for new generation panels - I do think panels

Beoplayer is nothing but a "wrapper" or GUI that uses Windows Media Player - so no. There wont be a Mac version. You can use BMLink from here to control your BeoPort though: http://www.odlund.se/bmlink/ ...also I dont see why one would want BeoPlayer - as it really isnt any good IMO.

From a usually quite trustworthy source, I have have heard that there is currently no larger BV7 in the pipeline, but a new updated version of at least the 40", based on BS3 is closer than you might think :-)
