  • Re: Beosound 5 Encore.... not until after summer !

[quote user="Chrisreunion"] EUR 2,850 for NRADIO playback? It must be a joke As such, BeoSound 5 Encore can only play NRADIO, it is "only" a nice looking interface, it doesn't do anything! It simply connects to Internet to get internet radio playback, and to your DLNA server or hard drive, to play your audio files. Or act as

  • Re: Who are B&O's main suppliers?

Well they still make their own electronics in alot of (most) areas, everytime i've repaired / explored a piece. The circuit boards are almost always made my B&O. It's things like CD / DVD drive assemblies, speaker drivers and screen tubes etc that they need provided for them, which makes complete and utter sense... Provided they choose the

  • Re: Durability of white or silver cloths on BL8000 and BL6000

[quote user="klit"] Thanks Dave. In the mean time I have called a couple of dealers and all of them told me that dust and resudue wil indeed build up in front of the speaker spots but are easily kept clean using a small brush on the vacuum cleaner (even with the white cloth). If that is what you are worried about, then do not get white. The speakers and the bass ports push in and out air. The dust, and resudue in the air builds up in front of these spots on the fret over time. It's not good if you are fussy. Silver on the other hand doesn't seem to suffer in this way, why not try dark grey??

  • Re: Beolab 9 problems

Hopefully it is not the power being supplied to the speakers from your wall outlet that's causing the issue!

  • Re: BeoSound 8 distortion

Thank you guys. If there are any BS8 owners who have noticed this characteristic please advise! Love the Beosound 8 but to be frank it is pretty rough compared to the Beolabs, no comparison, and has definitely been built to a price which is OK. If i don't turn up the Beosound 8 TOO high the sound is just great, for it's size. FYI volume control

  • BeoSound 8 distortion

Hi! I'm experiencing bass distortion when the volume is high. I even put the EQ on the iPod on bass reducer and the bass switch is on corner, is this normal?
