  • Beo5 controlling Panasonic HDD via BV10 puc

Hi, I have a BV10 and attached to it is a Panasonic Blu-Ray 500GB HDD. The model is DMR-BW880GLK. The model loaded on the tv puc control is Panasonic DMRBS850. The dealer advised this is similar and should work. When using a Beo4 everything works perfectly and I'm able to control most things. The Beo5 has been loaded with the control profile of

  • Re: BV10 Play Timer - One step forward, one step back !!!

Hi Jack, I don't know the software version of my BS9000 but it is around 4-5 years old. It's a MKIII model. I just tested setting a timer and it worked. The TV was on (only because I was watching it) and the BS9000 was in standby. I pressed TIMER on the BS9000 and it took me straight into the programming menu and I was able to program it as

Hi, I have a BV 10 & BS 9000 in our lounge with various link rooms all connected via Masterlink. Even though the BS9000 says 'TV operated' it still controls all the timer functions. I have programmed the timer settings on the BS9000 and then simply use the TV for the Timer on/off function to control the lounge speakers. To me the BS 9000

  • Re: Beosound 3 display

Press the Stand By button while the unit is off. It does need to be connected to the power though - it won't display the time permanently while on battery power.

  • Re: Wall Mount Cable Tidies - Share Your Photos

I had Beolab 5000's to mount but the concept is the same. I mounted my speakers above the powerpoints. That way I removed the powerpoints and was able to work out whether or not I was able to get the cables to the desired position. The powerlink cables came down from the roof space and the power cables came up from behind the powerpoint. Once I

  • Re: BV 10 & PUC control

Hi Stefan, Thanks for your help. Finally got it to work after seeing another post about using GO & Yellow button. In this case it's GO & Red for back and GO & Blue for forward. Logical...... no, but at least it works. Next step is the stand. It's been back for repair but still won't work on my TV. The stand had a short and I'm

  • BV 10 & PUC control

Hi, I have just got a BV10-40 and have a Panasonic DMR-BW 880 Blu-Ray recorder 500gb hard drive as the DVD player. The PUC control on the BV10 has the Panasonic DMR-BW 550 (or similar) loaded. It also has the generic Panasonic control for a DVD player loaded as well. I can get most of the functions of the recorder to work but cannot for the life of

  • Re: New BV 10

Hi, Finally got the front BL5's going. When they were originally connected to the BS9000 I used the original BL5 powerlink cables which were extended by a thick powerlink cable. I replaced the new mk 3 powerlink cable that I had run from the tv with the original extension cable and all is now fine. Thanks everyone for their input. Much appreciated

  • Re: New BV 10

Hi Lee, Thanks for the response. I'll throw in the beer if you want to come over and get the thing going. I was ready for more than 1 beer after driving 1659 kms over the last 2 days to pick the tv up! The tv was totally powered off when I attached the stand; there was a fair bit of swearing trying to see and reach the sockets from floor level.

  • New BV 10

Hi, I have just got a new BV 10 and have a couple of issues I need to get sorted. I have a motorised stand that was working but now I cannot get the stand function to work or the tv to even recognise it. When I select 'stand' it now changes the channel! I have tried powering off the tv, turning it off at the power even unplugging the stand,
