See below, and many thanks... [quote user="Stoobietoo"] Hi beoaus, I think we need to clarify some points here before we can advise as I'm getting a bit confused as to what you are trying to do! Your initial post mentioned both the White & new Black ATV. So some more detail of what you have, what you are trying and what does &

Yes a very nice solution. Unfortunately I need to add the IR sender direct to the Apple TV. Imagine the unit placed either behind the TV or out of sight elsewhere. Similar to a STB bracket, how is the IR lead handled then? If I cover the black dot with the sender it does not work. beoaus.

Is it stuck directly to the Apple TV (older white on). Do you have a picture? I have a well lit room so I need to place the IR sender direct onto the Apple TV and cover it... thanks, beoaus...

Anyone know exactly where to connect the IR lead to the older Apple TV (white) and the newer (black one) one? Trial and error does not seem to end with consistant results. Thanks beoaus.

They would have been from a dealer and usually with a some other kit. There was a couple of different varieties. Been trying to get hold of one of these for a while? Want to sell one? Beoaus.

If you are to keep the TV invest in the upgrades, your dealer should help. goodluck beoaus

I would as well if that is at all possible... Thanks beoaus.

Just saw this post. Presume you mean connecting Powerlink and ML at the same time. Unfortunately I have no experience with this. sorry, beoaus.

Its the BV7 40 MK II, with the PCM upgrade. I have a toslink to coaxial digital converter and I am using the Apple TV in composite mode for video. Thought the DAC Magic may improve the sound on the master TV and or the link rooms. I have no HDMI input. Sound is analog to the link rooms. Hope that explains the situation. beoaus.
