  • Re: glass panel replacement beomaster 4500

Hi Beofish On the last photograph there is a LCD-Display panel which shows a green text "Here Without You 3 Doors down Greatest Hits ....". Can you tell us please where you got this LCD-Display and whether it shows Powerlink or MCL-Information? It looks like the LCD-Display our member Ridax sells but looks better. I had a personal discussion

  • Re: Probleme mit Beocom 6000 MK I

  • Re: Remove timer on Beomaster 7000

Hi Jakelepeg Why don't you switch the timer off? You can do this by pushing the left and the right switch of your beomaster at the same time. The beomaster will write "timer off" on the display. I hope this answer doesn't come to late... best regards

  • Re: What frequency does data line have?

Hi I suggest you read the beolink technical manual (included in the service manual library from beoworld). The square pulse length is 1.5625 ms which means 320 bits/sec. Never found a complete description of all the commands but there must be at least some members who know. Good luck with your project, sounds interesting. David

  • BM4500 problem

Hello everybody Last week our BS4500 started having some problems. First the phono sound started to mix with radio sound (phono in the right, radio in the left speaker). Some days later, the sound of all sources was disturbed by intermediate "klick" sounds, which started about half an hour after the bm4500 was switched on. As we ordered new

  • Re: Stripping paint to make BM3500 a 'BM4500': experiences?

Hi evman140 Got the panels on ebay or on ricardo (more used in switzerland). Took me about a year to find the four pairs (one part from the 3500 system working but bad optical shape and one part from the 4500 system with good optical shape but not working). Good luck David

Hi CJ I also saw this post with the removing of the grey paint but never tried it. I changed the 3500 lids to the polished 4500 lids. To do this i had to collect quite a lot of pieces (BG4500,BG3500,BG3500CD,BG4500CD,BC3500,BC4500,BM3500,2xBM4500). But as all the parts had some problems, they where not very high priced. Why not give it a try? Worst
