I've been considering a switch from my BV7 MkIII to the BV9 over the last couple of weeks and this thread has finally tipped me over the edge, went out and bought one this morning!! Well done everyone.

Well...had the 5.02 update done on Saturday and all appeared ok, but..........now have the same problem as Moxxey with link TV's, can't watch either of them for more than a minute without getting the "HDCP" warning!! Anyone else had this, or got a solution?? Mike

I must say that I agree with Razlaw.......the BV7-40 stand is absolutely fantastic, but I can't use it because I have the 7.4 & larger stand. Hope they come up with a design for this combination!! Mike

Happened to me a couple of years ago and my dealer replaced the door for free (just charged a bit of labour) even though it was about 8 years old! Said it was a bit of a known problem with the glue. If you have a good dealer relationship this is definately worth a try.

Well, I beg to disagree...I don't know any B&O users (hmmm maybe I don't know very many anyway) who would choose to buy any B&O products because they were more or less green. We buy them for what they are!

Well I changed my Penta III's to Beolab 9's about 6 months ago and I do agree with what you say. The loss of the displays is a shame really and I do miss them. I think the overall sound is pretty similar, but the 9's are more compact and modern in the room than the Penta's. Both very good speakers. Mike
