That obviously should start at the store. Perhaps the B&O store that first sold your new treasure did not inform the original owner of any of these tasks ?
I think the issue here is this product is not like previous products in so far that there is no standard physical media. As the technology matures, one

If you treated it as a glorified iPod, then yes it is a waste of money. If you treat it as a primary music machine to integrate with your other B&O products, then it becomes in my opinion a superb machine. This means, ripping all your music to lossless, appropriately filing music in logical sense, adding high-quality cover art. I purchased my second

OK, I’m running an almost similar technical setup but with a BS5 rather than a BS9000. Suggested setup:- 1. Connect SPDif BS9000 socket to BL5 -1 in SPDif socket, 2. Connect SPDif BL5 -1 out socket to BL5 -2 in SPDif socket, 3. Connect SPDif BL5 -2 out socket to BV10 SPDif socket (not sure if this actually does anything) 4. Connect BV10 PL Front
"Whew....l". that, my friends, should not be a core quality of interaction with a BnO product. Steve, where r you?
Maybe not...but it is only doing what operating systems do. The real issue is the cr*p associated with Tags....not the BS5/BS5E. I've lost count on thenumber of CD's I've ripped
Note: if you place two of the same albums of the same artist on the BS5 in different directoryies with all the tags the same, this will be messed up
As per http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/41593.aspx ..... You have to ensure that the artist and artist album are the same for both CD's in the multiple album

Hi, I’m not sure if you are running iTunes files or WMA files through to the BS5. However, I think the nonclementure you use in either system will yield results in the BS5. I have just purchased my second used BS5/BM5 (I have one for the home and one for my work place). The used BS5 I purchased had over 20,000 songs stored in it – all in

Purchased one last Friday. Works perfectly as far as I can tell. Recieve a call, place it on the speaker....all works as supposed to...no cut-off or anything. Nothing to critisie about it apart from having remember to reverse the phone when using it. Regards 10

Sorry, meant internal fuse, not the one associated with the power cord. as you said, you have tested that. first fault - there was a loud "pop" on night and the LED was completely extingushed. Fuse change by B&O Hanoi. Cost more to lump the thing to their workshop. second fault - The LED blinked Red/off every second indicating a protection
