Cost cutting measures I am sure. However they really do sound much the same! The later ones are easier to maintain but I like the heavy platter of the 4000.

I have done the 5000 system with Helvetica Letraset before - did really rather well, though I say so myself! I was a while ago so I cannot remember exactly which size it was but it was Helvetica Bold. Having a Frede set now however, there is no comparison!I add some pictures!

A reasonable request! On the removing the wood surround, you don need to remove the control panel but after that it is just a case of removing the screws that hold the panel in the sliding position. The Beocord is unlikely to work properly and is worth little but the Beomaster and Beogram are both highly

It is in the centre of Struer, quite near the Grand and is definitely worth the trip. It is simply the best B&O museum in the world, even outshining the one in Clitheroe!
ItS a real shame the existing forum cannot be uploaded to the new one
The old forum will continue to be able to be read. The problem we have been having is that posters with high rates of posting have been finding that they are practically unable to post. Martin , myself and a number of others have just about

You can control the Beolit 12 with a B&O remote. That is what the IR receiver is for.The Beo4 and Beo6 will both work and I dare say the Beolink 1000 et al will as well.
