as i said. i used a camera to see the infra red flashing at the top of the remote. all buttons were flashing except for the menu button. is it supposed to flash or will it only start flashing when the remote recognises a television?

i was checking to see if everything works correctly on my Beo4 remote. i used a camera to see the infra red flashing on the remote. every button works apart from the Menu button? is this a problem? or is it supposed not to flash when you press Menu. the screen is showing TV. im worried about this cause im getting a Beovision very soon!

thank you very much. i will admit i have the virus as well. been fairly lucky with my headphones and my ouverture which i aquired rescently. and i have been gifted a beovision avant which was about to be thrown out!! i have a technically skilled person who helps with electronics and he could help fix it. are the ouvertures hard things to open and fix

now that you mention the belt. it probabley will be. the squeek sounds familliar to as of the similar thing like a fan belt on a car. and it makes a whiriing noise aswell. im not risking taking my Beosound apart as i am no expert. i have been recommended by B&O a specialist who could probabley fix it for a price. and what do you mean by a virus

The tape deck in my BeoSound ouverture has given up the ghost. it has refuesed to rewind for a while. and now just never works. when it gets turned on it click and makes squeeking noises. Has anybody had theirs fixed before and how much did it cost?
