The BO technician just updated the software of my BV7-40 MK3 to the latest version. We'll see if it helps -- it'll take a few days/weeks to figure it out.

Update : ça y est l'Apple TV est branchée au BV7-40. Je confirme la connexion HDMI est audio-vidéo --- pas besoin de SPDIF... Je poursuis l'installation et je fais un rapport...

One more thing : the strange thing is when the BV7 turns itself off, it does it very abruptly : without the electronic curtain, a bit like if I unplugged the tv from the mains. Yes I have an audio system (Beosound 4000 / Ouverture) linked to the BV7 in the same room. I did check that there was no stand-by timer program on the audio system --- it's clear. Is there a fix ? thanks.

I have the same problem ! And I thought I was alone... Mine turns itself off randomly but always at the bottom of the hour, ie 13:30 or 19:30. It only happens when I watch satellite TV (I live in France). Never when I watch a DVD. So it must be related to the satellite box... but I changed the satellite box a couple months ago for the latest model,
