First of all, thanks Carolpa for that long post which is really helpful to me. I found out that its seems to be some sort of a problem for the twonky server in its latest version, if folder.jpg is written with a small "f", so if its Folder.jpg the twonky server recognizes the cover file in the folder whereas if its folder.jpg the file gets

Hi Beoworld fellas, I have several questions regarding files and how they are handled inside a Beosound5 Encore: Here is my setup: BS5 wired to some Lab5s and wireless connected to a Western Digital Mybook Live NAS running Twonky server which is connected to an Apple Time Capsule. The BS5E detects the Twonky server/NAS without any problems and displays

"When pushed hard, B&O speakers become thin and edgy, which is basically down to insufficient amplification for the job" This is simply not the fact! Its just the standard bla bla bla... I sometimes push my 5s almost to the maximum and I am always pleased how they handle this without any change in reproduction of the music. If these beasts

I think there is a curse set on me when it comes to Beo5/6 ... I really start to hate those remotes... Anyone who can read this thread, feel free to show up at my house and catch the damn thing as it will fly out of the window this evening....

Das System ist etwas tricky einzurichten aber jetzt wo alles läuft, möchte ich

@ bayersche: my loved Lab 5's of course but only the front ones as I am to lazy to wire the rear speakers.. hope they get this BeoNet > Masterlink converter out anytime so the unit can be masterlinked with my TV. @ TripEnglish: You're simply a man of class, LaCie has the best looking HDDs on the market, I bought a LaCie Wireless Space NAS

2600 € in Germany, Stand 190 €, no remote included

@mbee: That USB thing was just an experiment to find out if the BS5E can read anything connected to the Time Capsule... lesson learned: " Welcome to the Apple world son, we're closed to standards or define our own standards which will be closed in any case! " It cant read anything as Apple simply doesn't support UPnP ... I will get
