Hi, had the same problem since I only had on my bravia an TOSLINK optical out for the sound. I bought a "pro-ject" module that convert optival TOSLINK to RCA and then add the cable described by kallasr, pay attention you need a cable that goes from RCA to DIN and not the other way. Ask your BO dealer for a 2 directions cable, he should know

hello, I would like to add a pair speaker (already own a pair of beolab 4000) to my BM 7000. Is there a way to create a kind of "fader" to control the volume on the 2 new speakers since they will be close to me when sitting in the sofa. I plan to buy a pair of passive ones like the CX100 or beovox 3000 thanks for your advices and ideas Eric

Hello guys, I found no experience return on this forum about the new beolab 11. I would like to add a little more punch to my beolab 4000 and BM7000 but I hesitate. They have this configuration in my BO store, but there is quite no difference whith and without the beolab 11. Does anybody have this configuration at home ? Thanks for your feedback Eric

Hi Peter, thanks for answering, but I still don't see how it can be wrong connected exept if it exist DIN to RCA cable that goes in only one direction. I have no mention of input or output on the BM itself. Is it just inverting the 2 RCA cinch ? Thanks for helping one more time. Eric

Hi, For music only, the BM7000 is damned good, but connecting Sony TV on it (via toslink optical converter + din to RCA)+ iphone + TV decodeur + DVD + PC ... the selector AUX, tape1 tape2, does not support it anymore and seems at the end . I'm loosing signal between TV and BM7000, it sounds really bad a bit like in a bathroom. I tried multiple connections

Hi Guys, I'm looking to change my old and tired Beomaster 7000 with a non BO product (a ROTEL RA1520) but I want to keep my beolab 4000. Since the Rotel have a pre-amp entry it will normally work with the line entry of the beolab 4000. One question : Will the beolab turn on automatically when I turn on my non BO amplifier (like today with the BM7000

What kind of connector do I need to finich the 7 pin cable. Since this system was designed for BM 5500m 6500 and 7000, it should be possible to connect it without any probs ? Thanks a lot for your help Eric
