I don't have that much on mine but rely on my wireless network at home and it is for web browsing and email at work. I do have the external drive but don't use it really as I just use the drive in my PowerMac wirelessly. It was useful for putting Windows on though - my one mistake was making the partition for Windows too small - I used the minimum

Smells like Teen Spirit - Nirvana - played on a poor system it is just noise, good speakers and it is great. The Introitus from Mozart's Requiem - lots of contrast.

B&O support products for 10 years following their discontinuation. They will help following this but the trim parts will probably not be available.

The 2300 DAB was actually made as a prototype but was never for sale. Several were 'liberated' before being scrapped. Actually not that great as they have an extra black box for the DAB and you need an Apple Newton to work it! Could this be the reason B&O and Apple don't co-operate now?

Beomaster 4401 - I didn't think this existed until Frede found one - and then he found me another one! I had been looking for one for years! It is mentioned in the 4400 service manual and the black parts are numbered, but no-one had actually confirmed they had one! We had started making a fake one which we were going to see if we could get into

The 'best' CD player made by B&O should be the early Beogram CD5500. Has the best mechanical deck and also has the TDA1541A DAC in it. I have most types of B&O CD player and my favourite to listen to is probably the CDX. It isn't quite as detailed as CD players can be - I have heard it through the very top of the line Naim system

B&O microphones have a small but fanatical following! There is a microphone forum and that would be the best place to ask. They can reach very good prices though the one to have is a boxed Beomic 5. The 1000 is a great design and if working should get a good price.
