I use 4000s as rears - I wouldn't want to spend more really. I also use 4000s as fronts in the playroom system in which duty they acquit themselves perfectly well.

Compilation albums always will be the choice of one person or sometimes a committee but I rather like them. It often means I listen to music that I am not aware of or have not listened to for years. Sometimes it means I skip some tracks after the first time but don't be put off. And I apologise to all those having to listen to Roger Waters droning

Having heard badly set up BL9s, I can recognise the description! Some (poor) dealers think that placing them against a wall or in a corner and then putting the switches to free standing and turning the loudness on makes them sound impressive - it doesn't. Set up properly they are a great speaker - but still not BL5s! I agree about the BL2 and music
