Cannot do that as botyh scarts in use , one with a dvd1 and the other with a vcr8000 which has a load of other junk(sky box and french terrestrial box thro an automatic switcher unit) which connect via the rca sockets on the vcr - they are called up as camcorder - messy but it works - the tv has a multi standard tuner which enabled french tv to be viewed

Btilliant as ever Peter I normally assume red right white lef tso without a test disc it works for me the data cable yellow and the data earth is the black core however I will try it as a fly lead, then as a ground with fly attached so based on the attached piece i suggest the connections pin2 shield (both cores)ground pin3 white wrapped core left channel

Hi all Trying to reinstate the 7 pin din plug on this deck lead - it had been replaceed with rca plugs I think there should be left / right/ data and ground to the plug + a flying earth lead - the manual indicates the blue and white cores are not connected, can some kind soul give me the pin nos on the plug? saslut tony

Ok got it sort of working, can now listen to BG / vinyl thro the system - had to use the ML cofiguration guide as info source the MX and the BS are both programmed to option 1 with the bl4000's off the BS et voila it works but not as previously ie only one source live at a time, with this setup the BG will continue to be herad when the tv is activated

Yep correct(I think!) as I have been using the on board keypad to action record etc I have only recently acquired a beo4 so am a virgin so to speak having always used a bl1000 remote tried list-a aux on the beo 4 nothing, used the wheel etc on the bs to get a aux up think i need lessons in beo4 useage! - quel pr*tt I'll find the beo4 manual and

bs is slave to mx7000 with bl4000 speakers on mx might try reversing master slave tomorrow if i can find some long pl leads salut t
