Entirely dependant on condition. If the units are scratched (the top is most common to get scratched) the price drops a lot. Your best bet is to have a look on ebay and see what they go for. Thats about the best way to gauge a value.

Movie soundtracks contain some greats. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was on today (i have it on dvd as well!) and I know all the words to all the songs due to hearing it every day for 6 years whilst working at my local theme park. Aaaah me old bamboo. The Child catcher still gives me the creeps though.

Everybody on here has obviously got great taste as we all love B&O but we each, I am sure, have our own little foibles. So what I want to know are what songs do you secretly love but have to explain why they are so good to any one else that hears them coming out of your stereo/ipod. For me its anything by Wham (except Last Christmas), dont ask me

The book is very good. I got it for Christmas from my mother. Where she got it from, I dont know! I wasnt expecting it as I thought there were delays.

Santa brought me a copy of the Jarmans book for Christmas. Who else got a copy? It looks great, lots of pictures and enough things in there that I would like to own to cripple me financially for the rest of my life! Well done to the authors, a great, informative read.

The pin has been removed. On looking through the cd50 service manual, it shows that you can remove a jumper in the remote to then control the on/off of various beomasters. Has anyone ever done this? I am not too sure I have identified the correct thing on the circuit board of the remote. Any one have any ideas.

Between CD's I could live with, but skipping songs etc I do like. Also, the BM6000 always goes to phono when a cd is started on the cd50, is there any way, apart from removing the datalink pin to stop this happening.

I currently have a CDX connected to my BM6000 and MC120.2's and it sounds great, but I am a lazy person and am not keen on getting up all the time to change cd tracks or turning the CDX off. I have recently got hold of a CD50 with the CD terminal remote which all works perfectly and so am in a quandary as to wether to sacrifice some looks for convieniance

Pentas really are good but I think for normal "quiet" listening the MC120's seem to have them beat. That may change as the volume increases but I'm not sure. Bl6000's and Bl8000's definatley have not impressed me as much as the mc120's. As you say though, women tend to prefer the prettier speakers over big old wooden boxes

I have had a pair of S80.2's that came with my BM6000 for a while now and I have refoamed them and replaced the capacitors. I was very happy with them and they sounded great. Recently, I got hold of some MC120.2's and have again refoamed and replaced the capacitors and have been listening to them for a couple of days now and they really are
