Hi! I have the 4705 type Beocord 5000, too. Is the tape counter working? There is a sensor that sees if the tape is stopped and that's connected to the counter. It might stop sometimes during the rewind etc. if not working (belt broken). The buttons have a plastic part that might come off from the circuit board and the key won't affect. It's

ChrDH: What kind of tape should i use? is it easy to remove the glass-panel? I used a thick double-sided tape. It might be a good idea to buy some thicker and some thinner tapes as it's like trial-error. If the tape is too thick, the glass will be too far off the contact-sensors and then the buttons won't work. When you have taken the glass

Hi! I have a Beocord 3500, too. I got it from eBay as non-working but in mint condition - it turned out to be just a matter of belts. They were all loose and there was no tape functions. The lid-motor-belt was ok, as yours. I bought the belt-kit from Dillen and it came with great instructions (you will need a small torx-screwdriver). After new belts

Martin! I was in contact with the current owner of the BC. He suggests I replace the belt for the turntable and to the cassette deck. I recon you have those in stock? :)

Dillen: Lift off the platter. Sometimes easy things are so hard....! I thought I tried to lift off the platter but seems that I didn't! The whole turntable assembly is so springy that I though it would break if I put too much force into it.... Well, thanks, this will ease the repair a lot. I will get into this repair again next week as the deck

That's interesting that it's a flaw. Still no wonder as this feels to be so cheap a set... If you can find the info about the fix that would be great. I still don't know how to get the turntable -part out of the main body - as mentioned on the first post. It's likely that the belt is slipping as the cassette deck belt was on the limit

Hi all! I have a Beocenter 2002 for a repair. Certainly not a true B&O except for the turntable and the aluminium slides but still quite good-looking center and I like the idea of a wide control-board. The BC is working otherwise well except that there is a small trouble with the turntable. When I start playing a record -either 33 or 45 rpm- the

I am just listening music with my Form 1 headphones. I thinki they are of very good quality and they even feel quite good after some time of use. I use them with my MacBook daily. I also have A8's and they are very good, too (I use the A8's also daily with my iPod) In case your Form 1 headphones have lost their original ear pads, the new ones
