I said we do not need another Sony company on the AV scene - not that Sony is bad in any way, but Sony is synonymous with "anybrand" and do not stand out compared to Samsung, Panasonic etc. We need companies like B&O, simply because they have a different approach and they stick to their old policy of "never look up at a television"

A BeoVision is much more than the sum of its parts - to me. I have owned most of the BeoVision 7's released to date, but I am currently enjoying a BV9 in the main room. The way B&O stick to their "never look up at a television picture, never straight at it - but slightly down" is worth a lot to me. The BeoVision 5 addressed the problem

I will have to agree with BeoNut1/Mark until B&O proves me wrong. There is nothing stopping them from updating the BeoMedia 1 on a daily basis, as (most) customers have it connected through a broadband connection at all times - but do they?

Hughie: Oh, reading all that is said about the DVD2, I have one one order - should I cancel the order? I have now sold my DVD1 so if I don't provide a dvd player in the house the kids will go ape! Some helpful suggestions? Hughie The DVD2 is a nightmare to service (which is of no concern to you, but nice to know), and as stated above: It works as

Bingo: Touch, touch.. Is that we are wating for?? I don't like touch devices. I like to feel a button. Never bought me a touchphone either. No no - as stated: it will have a user interface that has more in common with the Serenata than the iPod Touch. And the Serenata doesn't have a 100% touch screen. A wheel, similar to that found on the Serenata
