It is the control panel out of a BC7000. The lamps I have set in are 14.5V at 1 watt. Dont know if that is correct. Also there appears to be 3 Bipolar caps in the amp section. All at 47uf. Is that so. The service manual on site is corrupt - wont open. Thanks

Not done yet ... on more set of speakers to go. I was a bit concerned if it would fit back into the box but it did - very tightly. I used Jantzen polyfoil caps and a combination of munsford and eagle resistors. The end result is a very nice smooth sounding S-80.2 . Me ears are liking it. The S45-2 set that I rebuilt the crossovers on a month ago left me in awe. Has me 'jonsen' for a set of S75's. The CX-100 can really belt out the sound for a small speaker, best compact speaker I have ever owned. I had seriously considered replacing that regulator 8 days ago when I restored the sound originally, That area had been heating up for some time before I ever took possession of the unit. Fixed the problem last night and the Beomaster is playing and sounding better as the new caps breakin. Good even heat dissapation accross the sinks, Warm to the touch at 50 but not hot. The only thing I havent done is adjust the standby voltage or no load idle currnt setting. That information is missing from the service manual available on this site

I have a broken one, probaaly a faulty chip, dont really have the time to try and repair. Looking for a working replacement.

A year ago I managed to scare up two pairs of black CX100 both had scratches and chips in the original paint and tattered black "frets". Below was my solution.

So ... perhaps I am not so lucky !! Starting with the CD3300, after letting it set overnight I power it up and "poof" I burn TR6502 on the stand by powerblock. After recapping and replacing the Transistor and voltage regulator I have no display lights or function control. Powers up fine. So I swap the display board into a working CD3300 I

I also have a 1600 2400 3000 3300 and 4500 and while the 4500 tends to grab your eye with the mirror panels it is my least favorite of the five. My favorite for looks is either the 1600 or 3000. My favorite for sound is the 2400 followed by the 3300. I do use the 4500 with passive speakers only, RL60 or Klipsch Icon. Right now it is put away in storage

Chicks really dig my Beomaster 1600. It may be more of a chick magnet than me !!!!
