Does the arm servo motor spin when the arm is commanded out ? If so - replace the belt(s) and/or clean/lubricate the carriage spindle. If not - you have another fault, maybe an electronic one. Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! Regarding the dead amplifier channel, you need to find out if the problem lies within the amplifier module or in the preamp/tonecontrol circuits and if the problem relates to all sources (FM/Tape etc..) or just one. There's a bunch of tiny green electrolytic capacitors that leaks and needs replacing, especially some near the

Dustcaps and speaker cement on its way to your part of the world. Martin

I would get it checked, just to make sure. Lose connections can't be ruled out as fire hazard. Translations: - Demontert og feilsøkt. Dismounted and checked for faults - Blåst rein for støv. Cleaned off dust - Funnet vakkel på potmetere til frekvensjustering i tunerblokk. Found bad connection in potentiometers for frequency

Welcome to Beoworld ! Sounds like you will have to take the LX back to the repairer... Doesn't sound too bad though, probably a capacitor or some dry solders he missed the first time. Martin

You are not the first in this situation... Beogram 4000 parts are becoming scarce and I don't have a spare arm. We've discussed it earlier but I don't recall ever reaching

Coal tracks are treated with contact cleaner, leave it to soak for a couple of minutes and then wipe dry using cotton buds. The contact tracks needs a good rub with a glasshair brush to make them like

Welcome to Beoworld ! The mechanics are probably just in need of lubrication. This is very common. Do a search across the forum sections and I'm sure you'll find much more info, we've had this issue several times. Martin

Francois, She can still use the speakers but keep the grills on and remove the old dustcaps to prevent debris from entering the coil/magnet area. New dustcaps will have to be mounted as soon as possible. You have a PM ! Martin

If you only have 5 pins you need to mount two extra pins for datalink communication. They screw into tiny threaded holes and will become new outermost pins in the DIN (positions 6 and 7). Martin
