Wiggster, Welcome to Beoworld, nice system ! As already suggested, for the Beomaster 2400 (& -2) kits are available for recap'ing and for the panel lamps. The cap kit is quite comprehensive, containing about 60 components. The lamp kit contains a full set of new bulbs of correct wattage. Both kits come with instructions. The Beovox S50 speakers

The most important difference is the shielding. Some Beogram cables are only "one-way" so won't allow both recording and playback if used with a Beocord. Others have the input/output pins paralleled (why ?), which in turn will connect the play signals directly to the record signals and, needless to say, won't work with a Beocord either

I can help you if a used part will do and it looks like this: Martin

I agree that if you are really not into electromechanical repairing, this is not the task for you. Lubrication is the key but taking the things apart can be troublesome and ground-up adjustment is necessary in extreme cases so a certain amount of skills are needed. These two points are known to seize up and should be fixed as a minimum, take apart,

The risk of ruining something or getting it out of alignment could do permanent damage to the woofer and

Yep, belts are in stock. Mounting instructions can be included, they will also tell you how to get in there. I may also be able to help you if the motor has died but check fuses first. The little part you've found is for stabilizing the cassette tray, the Beocenter will probably work fine without it. Actually finding one with the part still in place

For the Beomaster 6000 (1980's non-quad) the remote receiver is an optional module plugged into the lower front of the Beomaster (ie. not all Beomasters have it). It can be taken out the same way or you can open the Beomaster for inspection and service as described in the service manual. Check for dust buildup at the sensor, especially at the inside

I have guided several people to the Ebay seller Lazerwave. He seems to do most cables. You should also be able to find a suitable cable or adapter at any well-assorted radio store. Martin

Beocord 3300; At the extreme vertical front, left side you have the word "PROGRAMMING", pressing the word or just to the left of it should open the lid. This also goes for the Beomaster 3300 (plus 2000 and 3000). Like this : Martin
