You can do that - just set the Beocentre to play standby on the days you are not there at the time it would normally switch on. It won't play then! Have you got the manual? It is on site. If you have the Beolink 7000, it is even better as you can set it to play in almost anyway you wish. Different days or even dates. You can also skip or suspend

Well done! The suspension is really quite basic when you seen it exposed! Bits of bent wire as carriers! But it works well so I should not criticise! The earlier 4000 decks are much easier to get at ! Best of luck with the CDX.

Welcome to Beoworld. I see you already have the real bargain speakers - these are in my view the unsung stars of the B&O range. Lovely design though perhaps a little understated compared to the 6000 and 8000. I love them and have two pairs!

Not had any problems with album art - except for some classical music. I don't use iTunes store really - just CDs or LPs. You can control an iPod with a Beo4 if you get one of Ridax's docks .

I have the iPhone and the iPod Touch. The iPhone will actually play music through the tiny speaker! Totally pointless but can have its uses!

Hate to be the bringer of bad news, but the HDR2 is not able to work with an Avant VCR. It can work with the DVD model or even the CTV, I believe.
