Puncher is dead on as to the convergence of, well, everything! That's one of the reasons I'm heartened by our direction right now. B&O has set out a road map that not only brings the home together, but essentially makes the B&O experience omnipresent for our users. There's not a lot to say on this other than to think about areas

Looks beautiful. Their interiors are definately an improvement. I prefer integrated Nav screens as I leave mine on and have come to refer to it just like any other instrument. Having it popped out detracts from the lines.

Lee, While sales aren't soaring, they have been steadily improving. Most of the shops that focus on custom install are doing well in my market. It's the stores that have not evolved away from a retail model that are shutting their doors or preparing to. Hoping to sell a walk-in customer on a BeoVision 10 or a BeoSound 5 is a losing prospect

Ed7, I give everyone the benefit of the doubt that they're arguing from their heart or their gut, but on a discussion forum you're going to be challenged on your facts if you misrepresent them.
Same old Trip - as helpful, contstructive and informative as always! I could argue but why bother, you are of course correct - the Samsung is cr4p with little technological worth........it is also likely to be the heart of next years BV7, after Samsung haved moved onto something else.
I'm not sure you could

This thread has really got me thinking. Maybe B&O is not so good! Maybe I've been lying to myself all these years. Maybe the other high-end brands that use their amplifiers like Meridian and B&W are also stupid! Maybe the brands that copy their design are dumb as well! Maybe the hundreds of thousands of customers who've bought B&O

That's fine! It takes all kinds to make a world. I'm just a stickler for conflating opinions with facts. I'd make a lousy politician! There's no question that we're in a consumer electronics renaissance and even some second-rate offerings are dazzling. So it's understandable that, price aside, the idea of committing to a single
