You should be able to make that work, although it will be less than idea. The issue is that the BeoSystem 3 is also a fully functional pre-amp on its own. It does not, however, have a fixed-level audio output (Tape/Proc-out), only the variable output PowerLink sockets. You'll have to play with the 2 systems find the best volume settings, and have

I found that an interesting read...now I'll need to know if it will run on an Avant/US, and if I'll be able to get a non-HD video signal out of it. Also a little confused about the utility of the 4 colored playlists. Good for a stop-gap I suppose. My imagination tells me that this is going to be the area in which the BS-5 really shines and begins

as of 20:40 EST (GMT -5) no new software available in the US, according to my local shop. OK I watched the updater run on the lap-top. No joy yet!

This is a BL-8k which has been brought in for service, yes...but that is not a shipping carton...that is an enclosure apparently commissioned by the owner. This is the way the speaker is displayed in the home. Russ

You will need the 8-digit serial number for your unit, and probably some prof of ownership of the unit. Given that a US dealer should be able to get you the PIN code in a matter of second (depending on how fast the hamsters are crawling through the intertubes to and from Denmark.) Actually, your brother ought to be able to get it for you with no trouble

Not throwing stones here...but these remind me of this: http://www.retrolution.dk/?p=28 And I had one just like it! Lee, the 'chameleon' colors you're thinking of go under the trade name 'Mystic' by DuPont, if I'm not mistaken! Russ
