Hi All I have read a lot about the new 7-40 MK IV, but NONE( none i could find anyway) are overall satisfied, why is this? HD seems to be stunning, but SD are CRAP... I have just decided to upgrade my 7-32 MK II to BV 7-40 MK IV, but find it quite shocking what i read in theese threads. My question is, does all theese negative experiences come from

Without beeing absolutly sure, that is most likely how Raslaw has it connected. This setup wil no doubt provide you with everything you need. Be aware, that for you to access sound in linkrooms from the appleTV, you have to press "AV DTV" or "AV SAT" depending on your remote. Otherwise there will be no sound, as your linktv thinks

I actually dont know that, but i think you should be able to connect through digital AND phono at the same time so you are able to have Dolby SS and stereo depending on the input source.

I was told otherwise... You should be able to watch a DVD on your linkroom tv without masterlink ( i think??) But i am not sure, however it worked for me so who cares how it works :-)

Problem Solved.... Issue was that the linkroom tv´s thinks they recieve a picture and therefore uses the coaxial cable for picture and sound (ignoring the masterlink). AV DTV did the work.... Thanks anyway DocD, maybe you can use this solution as well.

Hi all I have an appletv hooked up to my 7-32 with DVI and analoge soundcabels. Why cant i listen to sound from the appletv on my two linktv´s? It is possible on my BL3500? TIA Ehlerz

Hi First of all, you should connect the BS 9000 to BL5 with digital AND the BV 8 TO BL5 with powerlink. This makes sure you can use the surround feature incorporated in BV 8 and listen your your favorite Cd´s from BS 9000 As for multimedia advise. I myself have an Apple TV and are very pleased. However i am considering buying a mac mini instead
