The Beosound 2 is only well manufactured but poor designed in electrical terms: When you switch it on you hear a "plop" noise through the headphones - an absolute NO GO for a MP3 player in this class! My Beosound 2 is sitting lonely on my desk since I got the Sony.

Hi all, New user here so just like to say a big hello to everyone. I am thinking of getting either one of the BnO mp3 players but im not too sure which one to buy. As an audiophile, im looking more into the quality of the sound which could be delivered by these devices rather than their aesthetic appearances. Hope you

The only thing you can buy from Apple is: - Home Computer (Mac mini, iMac, Mac PRO). Their home computers are simply great and their Mac OS X, too! - iPhone - Software like Logic Audio (they bought the german company "Emagic" that developed "Logic"), Final Cut, iMovie etc. iPod is easy to use but it does NOT sound very good! I'm

you're welcome :) Would you mind to upload a 16bit, 44,1kHz bwf-file, too? The smart working stuff with only the bare necessities is typcial B&O. You have to love or hate it... sometimes I hate it but most of the time I'm loving it. The Beosound 5 is so inconspicuous and elegant looking at the same time; I love it. BUT I wish they would

a) Display remains static, no feedback for remote commands, except you skip to next album e.g.; than it shows the cover of the new album. This is something I'm missing, too as I can't see if the system understood a remote command like "MOTS" because there's absolutely NO feedback from the unit... but that's the B&O way
