  • Re: ATV2 and Beovision 6 (DVI)

Two thoughts ... 4.4 seems to have been buggy and is already updated to 4.4.2 ... perhaps try again ? And part of the 4.4.x upgrade has been to add a range of resolution and scan rate options to the ATV2 ... perhaps the mismatch is happening at that level ?

  • Re: BeoSystem 5000

Glad you fixed the jumper problem - I have one of my BM 5000s wired with simple RCA cables, the others have the jumpers as shown in the photo. The purpose of this setup, is to be able to interface an equaliser between the pre-amp and the power-amp should you want one (and no, there was not a 5000 equaliser made by B&O). I think the SCART cable from my set top box does not relay the preferred reatio for the program being broadcast which is why I always have to reset it Not sure why yours appears to be hardwaire regardless of your attempt to change

  • Re: Main differences in service area?

If you search the forums here you will find some complaints about dealers and the service they offer At the same time you will also find praise for dealers who "go the extra mile" I would say that a challenge that B&O has is they have a fragmented approach to service Some servicing is done through their B1 stores ... but not consistently

Have you tried the soft command FORMAT+n on your Beo4 ? My BV8 supports 3 formats for its screen and a good clue that we have it in the wrong format is what you are seeing I can spot it immediately ... and go [FORMAT] [3] almost immediately I get home Whereas my wife has been happily listening to the TV without noticing She tends to use the TV as if
