Am I right in assuming that the BC 6000 does not have a speaker/hands-free option? Just been checking the technical specicifications on the B&O main site and it doesn't seem to offer that functionality. Are there any B&O phones that do? I need to kit out the house with 4 phones. Would find it difficult to use a phone without hands free,

9 LEE: A 7.1 with a 7-40. Really? What made you choose that? Lee BeoLab 7.2 is it then? The horizontal stereo spaker that sits underneath. Chosen because it was the dealer's recommendation. I am sure it will grow on me, B&O products have a marvellous way of achieving that!

I know what you mean Andy! That is exactly how I felt. There is no question that hard wiring a place throughout is great in terms of overall presentation but good grief, what a job it can be. Having just moved in and with so many other things to juggle around I just don't have this as a high priority and I am not even sure that I'd ever bother

This week I will have my new B&O equipment installed. When the dealer came to assess my appartment in terms of placement, I was rather suprised to find the result at the end of the morning significantly different to what I had first imagined although I have no complaints at all and have complete faith in his expertise and judgement. What is the best B&O solution? I am confused by BeoPort and BeoMedia, it seems they do the same thing? I can stick with my PC and Windows Media Player or I could buy a Mac and use iTunes. Of course I could use iTunes on the PC but I am not like that, I prefer to keep Apple with Apple and PC with PC so to speak. Bottom line, having bought a BV7-40

beodude: Does anybody else see the resemblance ? Lmao can't wait for Serene 2 to come out : LOL beodude! Thanks so much for this post! I am sat at home in a very relaxed and chilled out mood slowly going through a couple of bottles of red and looking through the forum. Your post has really made me giggle and brightened up my evening a lot! Thanks

There has been a lot of talk in recent posts about the revised BeoVision 7-40 due to arrive in August/September. Just wondered how many people are in the market for a new TV and have put it off to buy this model when it's released? Equally, how many existing BV7 owners will seriously consider trading in their current model for the revised one?

That looks interesting Roger and I note that the company are in Cheshire, UK. I particularly like the design patterns along the sides although I am not too sure about the stainless steel polished look but it is a consideration still, thanks. Thanks to all those who have posted with your suggestions. There are some interesting pieces (in wood) on the
