Peter : The CDX could be poor solder joints as this is a common fault but could also be the spindle motor needing a good clean and service. Does it have particular problems with CDs with lots of tracks? If so, I would suspect the motor. Does this also affect the Beogram CD 3300? I have on right here on my desk and it plays some discs without any trouble

tournedos: This is a cool looking machine in the inside! This time I'll try to remember my principal decision to take some pictures each and every time I open a piece of B&O kit. Don't know about you people, but I never get tired of looking at those Many B&O machines look very cool (also) in the inside! And one thing I enjoy about opening

I was expecting that it would be dim but gladly not. I set all the picture settings to the factory originals and the picture was in my opinion bright enough - and there is still range to adjust it brighter if needed. I also thought the colour was very nicely balanced and warm. Also I noted that the picture was very much the same on both tuner and scart

Whoa! I just had the chance to test the tv with a Beolink 1000. And guess what? It worked! V.Tape, SCART input! Tuning channels! Picture adjustments, everything. The colour was set to very dark but I downloaded the user manual for this and there they stated the factory-settings for all the settings. I had some troubles figuring out how to use the STORE

I just got a message - the Beolink 1000 will visit me today and I can test the set better! Hmm... exciting! I also read that the chassis was made by someone else than B&O but still I think B&O have had that much part in the construction of this set that it could be called a B&O tv. Indeed the Beolink! I read that the chassis is not having

Hi! I had a lucky day, I found a Beovision MX 3000 tv-set from my house's trash. It has no remote but it switches on and shows picture, nothing but static as there are no more analogue tv-broadcasts in here.... but I can change channels. It's in very good condition, it has a white coloured top and side panel. I will borrow a Beolink 1000 this

Hi! I got a Beogram CD 3300 for repair. It's otherwise working but the DIN plug was cutted so I need to replace it. I have the plug but I have no idea which wire is which! I read the Beotech page about the Datalink but there was a green wire that this BG doesn't have. So far I have figured out that the red and white wires are the left and right

I really hope I can deal with the BC9000 somehow! :( As soon as I have that figured out I will get back to the BC5000. I think I have some pictures of it's disassembly somewhere... There's nothing too complicated but it will be much easier if you have some tips on what to do and what not to do! The main drive belt will be the most difficult
-
The slow running would be even a relatively easy fix - inside there is a potentiometer to adjust the speed! I had a slight tragedy with a Beocenter 9000 just an hour ago (short-circuit during repair) and I am feeling so depressed that the BC5000 guide will have to wait... :(

These are horrible decks to repair but extremely good looking! And yes, the only made by B&O themselves. There is a small belt for the tape counter, that gets easily snapped if the deck is dissassembled without paying attention. Also there are several parts - the tape mechanism, the aluminium control panel and the black panel and the lid - that
