I agree with Daniel that the problem is certainly lack of contact over the Masterlink. Is your Beolab 3500 an older version (Mark I) or a newer one with Power link sockets (Mark II) ?. If it is an older unit which also has MCL as well as Masterlink in the move it could have gone back to the default of MCL. To check and change the setting on a Mark I

I can confirm that there are a few female members, but I guess in a male dominated forum most tend to just view posts. There are some exceptions, just this week, I responded to a request from a lady about fixing a Beocom 6000. She plans to upgrade her unit to a Mark II version herself. Perhaps more female members would show up if we had a female moderator

Gary, For three of your 3rd party products I have already produced XML files. If you can find Pronto HEX codes at remote central HERE I have a software package I wrote (not XML Generator) which will convert them into Beo5 XML files.
-
Gary, A very warm welcome to Beoworld.. Firstly, can I suggest you review the Beo5 web pages HERE which I am in the process of updating. Given you have downloaded the "XML Generator" I am assuming you have a Lintronic box which you have captured all the 3rd party codes with, can you please confirm ? What 3rd party products are you trying to

Beodoc, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but I have been on holiday and I am catching up. Which version of Beocom 6000 handset do you have ? The button at the 9 'oclock position round the dial, does it have the letters INT or a DOT with a Mark I shown HERE and a Mark II shown HERE Normally in the US only Mark II's were sold.

Maxx, A Very Warm welcome to you from all of us at Beoworld.. Controlling 3rd party products with the Beo5 requires an XML file to be built for the product, if one does not already exist. You may wish to start by reviewing the Beo5 Resource web Pages HERE If an XML file does not already exist for the 3rd party product, you are looking to control, then

Hangglider, I tried to send you an e-mail twice, but it gets rejected with the following error:- " Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual alias table "
-
Hangglider, I have sent you my address by e-mail so you can send the remote.
Just one simple questions: B&O uses 455kHz. Why does it not work to build a configuration, although Feller sends with the same carrier? Is this a propritary B&O frequency and cannot be used for 3rd parties?
Well, in principle
-
Hangglider. The key to this issue in my view in Carrier Frequency. The Feller's XML file produced by B&O used a 36Khz carrier frequency which is correct for RC6 protocol. The Beo5 and most IR signal converters have a Carrier Frequency range of between 30 and 80 Khz. If Feller's uses a carrier frequency outside the 30 to 80 Khz carrier frequency

Hello Hangglider, I have reviewed and tested the Feller Beamit XML file and it uses Philips RC6 32 bit protocol. When I reviewed the Feller's web site I noted that they have more than one version of remote control which may use different protocols. The only way to be certain if there is an error or it is a different remote is if you can capture
