If its supposed to be 6cm thick, about 2 inches, then there is hope it might be LED based screen. There is hope since obviously they are in bed with samsung. Just speculating and hoping here .......

I would try to get a BV7 MK 3 first, maybe without DVD player. Remember that awesome deal they had? The center speaker can be added later, and well DVD or Blueray you get get an external one or you may have one. If I recall correct the MK3 sans DVD was around 6K. I have the BV8 32 and I know day will come where I bite myself that it only has 1 HDMI

I think they are pin protected. However you can switch this on and off. On mine its off, it never asked for a code. Cheers JK
