The Clock problem might be caused by a setting in the menu. In the Setup menu you can set CLOCK from Yes to No. The other problem could be caused by problems with capacitors that need to be changed.

That is a hard one. I think I would go for the BeoLab 4000, but it might be different for you. The best way to make a good choice is comparing both speakers, but for that you need the speakers! Thinking of the costs, economically the S45-2's are the best choice, you can buy them cheap in comparison with BeoLab 4000.

The pin code is not on ROS, but is is a PIN that can be set to make sure that someone else does not register a handset to your base. Like that is ever going to happen! If you know how to handle a soldering iron you can replace the back-up battery. I would replace it and see of the other problems also are solved. The battery is not the most expensive part.

What I am trying to say is that if a dealer has a good excuse why a repair takes longer and he can back it up, then I don't have a problem with that. But the costumer should always be informed about it!

As far as I know the aluminium frame can only be ordered at Bang & Olufsen if you return the old one, or this must have changed.

If you think it's a crap excuse you don't know what is happening at the moment in the electronics world. If new components are not available they are not available. That has nothing to do with it being 2011, it has to do with deliveryproblems of electronic components.

The products with the red labels were also used for marketing, to show to dealers or the press before the actual products are released. They should always be returned to B&O after use, but it seems that this not always happens. Must have been the same for my MCL2AV with red serial number label......
